Started conversion @ 8:30 pm w/ 2 182 oz of bleach

Test results 1st hr

FC - 3
CC - N/A
TC - N/A
PH - 7.8
TA - 110
CH - N/A
CYP - N/A

Water Temp - 80

Added 3.1 96 oz bleach

Welcome to TFP!

Before you go much further, I would lower your pH to around 7.2. It helps the process move along better.

Do your best to bring that FC to 15 and keep it there. You will notice that your FC will fall to near zero in the early stages in a manner of minutes. Keep hammering it with chlorine.

when you get that muriatic acid to lower the pH, get LOTS more bleach. 2 jugs was not enough!!

As 257 said, you need to bring it to 15ppm and KEEP IT UP THERE or your conversion will take forever.
