Hello all..

Well I got all my patio blocks in and leveled. I set up the track to see how it sat on the ground, and I have some very slight gaps between the rail and ground. Most all the sections I have to shave down a hair.. But a few have very slight gaps. What would be the best to fill the gaps with? I have topsoil that I can use and tamp down, but wondering if there is a better solution that will pack harder. In a perfect world everything would of been level with the blocks, but I'm in an area with all hardpan. Almost solid rock. I used a sledge hammer almost as much as a shovel.

Thanks for any help.

Geo

If you're on hardpan you can use some of that to fill the gaps. Break it up good, tamp it real well and dampen it a little as you're doing it.

You can stop shocking when you pass the OCLT (You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & You have .5ppm CC's or less) & your water is clear.
