Thinking about getting this pool. We got quoted $2995.00 for the pool-the whole package. All we would have to pay is $799 for someone to level the ground and install, and the electrician. Is this a good price?

What is the equipment included in the "whole package"?
What size and brand equipment is being included?
Are any start up chemicals included?
Do they supply the installer or did you find and independent contractor?
Does leveling and installation include moving and replacing any fencing taken down for access to the yard?
Does the install price include sand for the base?
Is the electrician included in the $799?

What is the equipment included in the "whole package"? Ladder, wide mouth skimmer, 22 sand filter 1 1/2 hp pump, liner, chlorinator. Polaris style auto cleaner.

Is the electrician included in the $799? No.

If you can find out what kind of equipment and the wonderful folks here can tell you whether or not its going to last you more than a year, or if you would be better off to upgrade now and save money down the road. The 1.5 hp pump should be more that enough for a pool that size, We will assume that the filter is a 22" sand filter of some variety though the more specific you can be would help give you more than just a general idea.
