The pool is filled and we haven't added any chemicals yet. Do we test the water before adding anything? Also, we need to get the PH right before we add any bleach, correct? Can we work on the PH during the day or do we need to wait until evening like with the bleach. Sorry for all the questions...

I hope this doesn't sound like a silly question but I'm new at all of this. We drained our algae infested pool and will soon set up a new pool. Will it be a problem to use the same hose to fill as we did to drain? I don't want to spread anything to our pretty new pool.
