Thanks for the response. I have gone through that article already which is how I got around to lowering my TA in accordance with those instructions. I am not clear on whether I should look to raise my CH. It is a bit below that 100 ppm level listed in the article.

I did go ahead and replace the sand yesterday, and finished around 7:00 PM last night. Filter has been running since then but no clearing up to this point.
