Can I just by the Hayward filter n replace the intex one or do I need to buy the Hayward an a seperates pump for it to work ?

I want to change out the pump, can u recommend a good DE pump for the intex pool? I dont want sand. Can a DE 1 1/2 pool pump/filter be used with the intex pools? We dont have a built in skimmer.

we used shock and swim by hth. Stain and scale contains phosphonocarboxylic acid, thats all i see on the bottle.

We saw no change so we emptied the whole pool and are going to start over:( So now we are going to use chlorine tablets. So to do this right what sequence do I do first and with what chemicals. The pool place said they detected no iron or copper, we are on city water.

ok did the bucket and polly fill. Took alot of junk out but seems to have stopped now. The water still looks a tad dirty to me though. The test strips show calcium running really high like 1000 if they are correct. Would high calcium make water a tad dirty? Havent received our TF100 in mail...
