What a beautiful design. We are in Little Elm and have an appointment scheduled for next weekend with a local company but I am curious as to who you received bids from and which company you went with, if you don't mind sharing that information with me? I'd like to get at least 3 design ideas...

I actually contacted them about 3 months ago and they stated that they start in the $40's and when I mentioned the size of our yard we were told they have a basic beginning size so even if we build smaller than that the cost wouldn't change, wouldn't be worth it for their contractors to come out...

Thank you jblizzle for the response. We thought the same about size and such but were told by two builders that the base cost was 40k. I'll keep looking at the forum and see if I can find anything but so far don't see anyone listing their cost.

My husband and I are considering a new pool and made a few calls to local pool companies but were surprised to hear that the starting cost was $40k and above.... can anyone tell me if this is about average for the area? Thanks in advance!
