    Intex pump, big sand filter... will it work...

    Just for those wondering, I hooked up an Intex 633T pump to a 24" Hayward S244T sand filter. Will it run it? Yep. Seems to have better flow thru the hayward than the stock type B cartridge filter. I removed the cartridge filter from the housing, and the pump just pumps through the empty...

    Been lurking here a year or so, been preparing my site for a while now. Had to cut into a slope on one side, and build up the other side a few inches. From reading, I know thats not ideal to build up a low side, but that's what I've got to work with, so I did it. We'll see if I did a good...

    ughhh... dog bit my liner.

    Well, brand new 26 x 52 Intex. After working several weeks nonstop on a less than ideal location- fighting roots, moving dirt, leveling, tamping, digging in pavers, cutting and putting down foam insulation... I go get my liner from the garage and discover the dog chewed on an exposed corner...
