The handheld Aiper does not seem as powerful as the Water Tech, but I looked at Aiper cordless robot and could be at similar price to the iVac350Li or Pool Blaster Max Li. But, would the robot pick up acorn. It seems like acorn would only be pushed away and not picked up.

Since you FC is at 25, your pH reading won't be accurate. You should wait for your FC to drop below 10 before you try to adjust pH.

OK, so after this is fixed. Short of not using the cover, any other way to prevent this from happening again? Do you have tricks on how to remove cover and prevent to have its top water poored into your pool? or a way to prevent water to collect on top and get transformed into an algea nurserie?
