well i want to use my old adove ground pool vac (which is a zodiac ranger) in my new in ground pool ....but it does'nt like the deep end ...and ideas ???????? i think maybe that the hose is too boyaunt to go deep !!!

i control the valves with the litle switch on the side of them ....as far as automation goes it looks like they used aquadyne boxes to control everything ,but .....no remote (bought a repo) if i were to remove the cover plate for the timer you can see 4 or 5 of the aquadyne boxes and this must...

well i removed the complete unit and took it apart and come to find out the transformer is blown and doesn't produce 12v so the time wasting stops there as far as repairing the pool and spa lights i'm gonna abandon the thought .....thanks for the input time to look on e-bay for colorlogics!!!

I WILL KEEP ALL THE INFO IN MIND . If I want to turn the spa jets on how would i do that WITHOUT a remote there are only four valves on the whole system . i will try to post a pic soon ....but does anyone have a link to a basic operations/ layout for a pool / spa combo ...btw there is only 1 pump !

well basically to operate the spa we must need a remote . i looked at the valves and they look like jandy automatic ..neverlube valves that CANNOT be turned manually .....maybe i will just call a local pool builder and get the basic lowdown onthis pertillicular set-up !!!!

well i'm purchasing a new house and it has an in ground pool and i guess the spa needs a remote ? Is this common I have found the reciever box and it says AQUADYNE on it ,but a google search turns nothing concrete .....any ideas ???

Allright people I have a 24' round intex ultra frame pool ....and the liner and poles are all tat's left intex...but anyways I an looking for pictures with decks built around these pools ;come on I know thier out thier .....somewhere!

WHY that's what the installer said he was gonna do if start up was gonna be a constant problem ......what i mean is that it is a 1 hp motor on a mastercool and on start up the 15 amp circuit for outside plugs just isn't enough along with the garage lights and the fridge in the garage :rant: and...

actually the connection is for my swamp cooler which is on the outside plug circuit and i was gonna just connect it to one leg of the a/c unit disconnect box to take it off the outside plug circuit!!

well does anyone have any pointers on how to make a 110v connection @ my box for the a/c unit fuses .....wires are ..1 red 1 white 1bare and then 2 greens to load ! !....any takers :twisted:

ok that isunderstood ...the motor says 1hp 12amps ,but i do understand the startup issues with the amprage draw but what if i use a 10awg 100' extension cord??? the poolis in a temp location till winter !!!

What are the options for skimmers on an intex soft sided ultra frame pool ? has anyone ever added a traditional style doughboy skimmer (outside the pool) to a soft sided pool ? I 'm sure the skimmer will work that way but the weight needs to be supported somehow other than on the...
