I am just curious (I'm geeky that way always wanting to understand something) WHY is it recommended that your CYA is higher for a SWG pool than one maintained with bleach? My SWG manual says to maintain at 30, whereas TFP recommends 80? I brought mine up to 60, but just scared to go higher...

I actually had to his happen before on a sump pump discharge line. I ended up finding a small hairline crack in the pvc causing the leak from over tightening the clamp. Ended up replacing the pvc. So you might check for that. For me, continuing to tighten the clamp just made the crack bigger...
