I just recently bought a dolphin robot and i am very happy so far, it climbs the walls and my steps cleans the pool very well....my last vacuum was a tiger shark and was 400 more than the dolphin and wasn't nearly as good.

I thought I was doing things the TFP method my liquid shock is 12% bleach I only open with that then its 8% clorox the rest of the season with borax / muriatic adjustments for PH only I think ill heat the water a little...

I found a previously repair in my step that seems to be leaking does any body know if this can be repaired without draining the water.

Found the source of my leak it looks like a previous repair by former owner started leaking again is it possible this can be repaired without draining the water I believe the steps are made of plastic.

Thanks tyler did you install the liner yourself I was thinking on having a pool service do the job and thought it would cost between 2000 and 2500 but I'm not sure.

Opened my pool today and the water level was about 2.5 feet lower than when I closed it the liner was pretty faded so I think I'm gonna just replace the liner and whatever else it needs does anybody have an idea on the cost of a new liner.

There are many people on this site that can definitely help you I learned a lot on here but I'm no expert I would get a test kit ( TF-100 ) and post the numbers and I'm sure someone will chime in ...I agree these pool stores on the island are no help all they want to do is sell you more of...

Did this pool previously use baqucil I have seen chlorine do this to a baqucil pool.

Is it that critical to drain the water or can I just use higher chlorine levels and hope it drops over time. The water is very clear.
