i use liquid bleach in pool. how do i turn down flow on skimmer?

what causes skimmer basket to crack several times a year? could it be my pump being too big? my pump is 1.5 h.p. the baskets break along the top rim everytime.

i have a hayward sand filter with a 1.5 hp pump on a 24 ft abg pool. is this pump too big for my pool ? it seem like it is a bit strong for the pool. any ideas or recomendations ?

need help with a cloudy pool. i did an overnite fc loss test and lost less than 1 ppm fc. all other test normal. fc 6 cc 0 cya 40 ta 8 ph 7.8 vac and brushed pool 3 days in a row. have had no problems last two years using bbb. can barely see bottom whan standing in pool.

i have a two year old 24 ft agp. when i turn pump off a large amount of water shoots out of the skimmer. i only have 1 inlet and 1 return. pump and filter appear to be circulating water other than the problem when the pump cuts off. any ideas on problem?

temps are going to about 20 tonite. can i still run pump with gauge not reading properly until i get new one and how long should i run it to protect filter and pump tonite

pressure reading on filter shows 40 even with filter off. when i turn filter on pressure goes to 52. is there something wrong with filter or gauge?filter and pump seem to operate properly.

i live east of atlanta and would like to know if it would be ok to not close pool? if i do not close pool could i still run pump as needed for freezing temps or should i still run pump daily? i do not have alot of trres to deal with.

with an abg vinyl pool how high is too high for my ta reading? my ph is stable at 7.6 and my ta is 120.

pool has been up 2.5 months and psi started clean 15 psi and has only gotten to 16 psi since first day.

pool has been up 2 months. water looks great. i think if i cover pool as much as possible and increase cya a bit maybe that will help decrease the loss. ph stays around 7.6 ta is steady at 100.

is a chlorine loss of 4 ppm over 24 hours normal. my pool is uncovered in atlanta area with lite usage. cya level is 40. i have to add 96 oz. of 6% bleach every night to boost level up to 7 ppm.

need advice on how long to run filter. my pump is a hayward power flo lx rated at 70 gpm. my filter is a hayward dreamline 5230tscpe rated at 54 gpm. would like advice on how many hours a day to run and if not 24/7 should i divide run time into several blocks of time?

pool came with frog system. converted to bbb method for my pool. all test numbers holding good. should i just leave frog in or disconnect it? if i leave it in what setting should i leave it on, 0 or 10?

how do i clean filter basket at pump without putting so much water on ground? i know i have to turn valve off right before pump. what else should i do before i open top to clean out basket?

i have to put plate adapter plate in top of skimmer then attach vac to adapter plate. the skimmer sock does get clogged. do i have to take basket out to vac?

my vac goes thru my skimmer. do i need to remove the skimmer sock before i vacuum?

new owner of a 24 ft. above ground. would like to know the pro's and con's of a swg on an abg pool. dealer that sold me pool did not recommend swg for an abg pool. he said it my void warranty.
