The stairs are fiberglass.There are 2 returns and the skimmer.No main drain.

Alot of good suggestions..The easiest and cheapest is hole or holes drilled in vacuum head..I'll try that first and report back.

I think that type is for gunite or cement pools.. I don't know why it wouldn't work on vinyl liners...I bought one years ago and it didn't work well.I threw it out so,I guess it is not my answer.

Where does that recommended valve go? Can it go between hose and vacuum head? I'm using simple pole,hose,triangle vacuum head.Does anyone know about this one?How do I use the suction relief valves when it is in the water?.

This is my set up...No valves,no main drain.1 HP motor..This increased suction is about 6 months old..I was vacuuming previously without problems...What can I do to reduce suction without replacing a good motor.
