OK, I will add some more bleach. That seems like a lot of chlorine :( I would prefer a pool with lower amounts of cholorine. Its sad my CYA is so high. Would getting a salt water system in the future help change this?

Is there no way to get my CYA and CH down? Those are the only things that look pretty darn high? Or is the only solution for that to empty out half my water and refill? Will this get better over time?

I have read all that. I just put my test results in the calculator. Apparently I need to add 399 oz of 20 degree muriatic acid. It also says that I should empty out half my pool to get the CYA down?

Thank You, I will do just that. I will measure the outside of the pool and depth. And start adding bleach to the pool using that calculator, until I get my test kit. Any recommendations on a leaf rake/net and nylon brush? I prefer to spend a little more for something that will last longer...
