pH creep up too much? TA too low?

Pool isn't new and not recently plastered. No aeration but the Kreepy Krauly hose vibrates a lot causing surface breakup. * Fill water is low pH and TA 30. and CSI is -0.26 Since TA of 50 isn't harmful, I guess I'll just let it be and make sure to keep pH adjusted so CSI does not drop...

pH creep up too much? TA too low?

My FC loss per day is right at 3, so I'll use Trichlor pucks to get the CYA up to 40-50. As for the TA . . . per Pool School, I kept TA 70-90 by weekly adding baking soda, but still had a consistent pH creep up of 0.1 daily. Then I read in TFP forum to leave TA alone to see where it naturally...

pH creep up too much? TA too low?

I've been using Taylor K-2006 testkit and TFP method for about 2 months. Thanks TFP ! My current test results are: FC: 3.5 CC: 0 pH: 7.5 TA: 50 CH: 300 CYA: 25 Borate: 50 CYA was really high, so in early May, I replaced 80% of water & stopped using Trichlor pucks. CYA now...

When entering "temperature" in Pool Math, should it be the water temp or air temp?

New to BBB, can I get advice on sequencing?

Appreciate the reading suggestions and the direction on CYA. I identified the exact CYA level, replaced 75% of my water (as directed by Pool Math). CYA is now down to 40ppm, and here are the rest of my current test results: FC: 1.0 ppm CC: 1.0 ppm PH: 8.0 ppm TA: 70 ppm CH: 175 ppm CYA: 40ppm...

New to BBB, can I get advice on sequencing?

Thanks for the heads up on the Trichlor tabs. I've removed them. *anyone want to buy 3/4 full bucket of Trichlor tabs? ;) Re-test of CYA (using 50% tap water) found CYA at 200ppm. So, my complete test results are: FC: 2.8 ppm CC: 0.2 ppm PH: 7.9 ppm TA: 130 ppm CH: 270 ppm CYA: 200ppm * What...

New to BBB, can I get advice on sequencing?

My Taylor K-2006 arrived today. 1st test results are as follows FC: 2.8 ppm CC: 0.2 ppm PH: 7.9 ppm TA: 130 ppm CH: 270 ppm CYA: 150ppm? (Wasn't even halfway up to the "100" mark What sequence should I start fixing things that are out of line? Also open to recommendations on good...
