    Pool light housing leak

yes...its a very horrible design , hard to get an even clamp down & if you're fixture is bent in any way forget about it ...might as well get a new one....I'm thinking corrosion & water leaking at the power cable entrance to house ...

    Pool light housing leak

Very old wall niche Pentair fixture . Was in before I bought my home back in 2005 . I replaced the bulb and (out of market) gasket last year with a typical Chinese LED . Worked great all last summer and blew out upon opening this year. I opened it all up to find a slight amount of water is...

    High Chlorine demand ?

Hello ! ok , so I built up the CYA to respectable 20-30ppm and threw in 3.5 gallons of liquid chlorine from my pool store. Put in 3 floating stabilized pucks ...barely a chlorine level...waited a bit 3 more gallons , still nothing went to work on PH...over 2 weeks I added 10lbs of baking soda...

Return jet weak / bubbles in line

ok ...did the 24hr bucket test & water level stayed pretty much the same on both ends...so could old beat up cartridges be causing this? Old Pool pump? Still doesn't explain the bubbles in the lines...

I have a 20,000 IG pool with cartridge filter . I noticed recently 1 of my return jets has a very weak flow and other 2 lines have bubbles coming out indicating a suction side leak . I have exhausted all above ground troubleshooting. Replaced O rings , pump basket and lid , checked for debris...

1 Return Jet Not Working ..Air in lines..?

1 Return Jet Not Working ..Air in lines..?

Jim - you mean in this direction correct ? Close the cleaner side? I never thought of the relief valve being the culprit? You mean sucking in air at the relief valve? Soapy water test? Cartridges were cleaned in late March , so all good there ...they are kinda old though , its been over 12...

1 Return Jet Not Working ..Air in lines..?

Photos attached....I've replaced just about everything . I did my own evaporation / leak test (pencil mark in skimmer , 2 days) about 1/4" down..but that's when it was about 55 degrees at night & 70 in day...so not conclusive if I have an underground leak....the pool is definitely not "leaking...
