The pool knowledge being shared here has helped me since joining in 2014. I spend FAR less time and money on my pool's maintenance. I open to nearly perfect numbers and clear water each year. My pool went from being a chore to a joy! I would encourage everyone to consider supporting this...

    RJ-60 PLUS dying cell?

My FC level had jumped to 14ppm by 2020 hours on 6/5/2023 (pump OFF), it was 13ppm at 0800 on 6/6/2023 pump OFF. I think I need to raise my CYA and be a better pool owner :) I think I had ran the SWG too low for too long. It's obviously putting out now :)

    RJ-60 PLUS dying cell?

I have 14 - 3" chlorine tablets left from 2013. Since my CYA and FC was a tad low and my pH is at the high end, I added a few to a floater. Need them gone :) I'll check CYA after they've had time to take effect.

    I'll do that tonight. Thanks!

    RJ-60 PLUS dying cell?

It would appear that Cl production from my 2020 (3 full seasons) installed RJ-60 is MUCH weaker than when new. The bubbles exiting the cell on Super Chlorinate are about like the 25% used to look when new. I did a manual clean of the cell. It's running 22V and ~6 amps. I'm getting lower than...

    Any SWG convert regrets?

I converted from LC to SWG just before the 2020 season. NO regrets and won't switch back when LC is in surplus. It's amazing just how 'trouble free' my pool has become. I'll roll the dice with electronics.

I have no need for TFP!

TFP has saved me thousands of $ and much frustration! CYA brought me here...and my perfect, effortless (almost) pool keeps me returning and supporting so others can see just how easy it can be. 100% behind TFP!

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

The 'magic module' as I shall call it has worked! The 'generate' light is on and bubbles are leaving the cell. A big THANK YOU to CircuPool for being so fast and friendly!

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

Circupool told me today that in rare instance the power unit "locks" the cell out. Hence the adapter part. We shall see. LC for now :)

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

FWIW, the power button will no longer turn my RJ-60+ OFF. The keypad appears to be 100% disabled.

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

It was producing wonderfully! 30%-35% for 12 hour run time keeps my 23.5k pool at ~5ppm FC. ~3800ppm salt. It had made my pool truly trouble free....I bought LC last night :(

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

No real discussion as to why. The board and all contacts/connectors are clean. The install is in an 'out of the way' place, so no traffic to disturb the cable. I have a vertical install with the INLET up. The install directions tell you to treat the cable end as the INLET. I looped the...

UPDATE! RJ60+ showing 'CELL CONNECTION' message

My RJ-60+ is showing the subject message. The guys at Circupool were very quick to try and walk me through a troubleshooting sequence. They're now sending me a 'RJ60N PCB Adaptor' that goes between the control board and the plug for the cell. I installed the unit in April and haven't had to...

Equipment Pad Ideas for SWG Install

I feed nylon cable ties through the RJ-60+ wall mounting bracket and used my old liquidator lid to protect it from rain/sun. My wall faces east.

Equipment Pad Ideas for SWG Install

I took pictures to capture the serial number, model, and other info on the external before opening my 60+. Went back and looked (after reading this forum topic) and the tape was rather hastily applied. I didn't measure my power cord but 48" seems about right given my distance to the source and...

Advice converting from a traditional system to SWG

This spring, I put a Circupool 60+ in a 28k IG pool with a older Haywood 1.5hp pump, 20 year old Haywood sand filter with multiport, ~3 year older liner, same size fittings you have. I don't have red clay brick (I have concrete) . I am tickled to death! Measure your current salt content...
