My pump seems to be dead. No lights or power of any sort showing up on pump, but my SWG seems to be getting power and panel seems OK. I do see moisture in the display, not sure if water damage or what. What would be basic troubleshooting steps (I think it's 7.5 years old)..

Eh, it's not rocket surgery - only chemistry ;) I wouldn't worry about it too much until you get your kit. Just guesstimate it with poolmath, you'll be fine. Even if you use 2X as much as you need it won't hurt anything but your pocketbook by a small amount.

An ic60 (or other 60k gallon unit) would be large enough. The recommendation to go oversized is related to how often you have to replace. A 60k gallon unit will produce enough chlorine but you might have to replace the cell e.g. every 3 years versus 4 years. You still might be better off...

My experience with an IC40 matches up pretty closely with pooldv's. I tried 800, it worked for a bit but shut on and off. 900RPMs and it seemed to work pretty steadily, but it's new. I went with 1000RPMs to be safe.
