Need a heavy duty way to keep the straps fastened onto my solar cover

Thanks for the reply. I would say that basically this is my setup: Swimline Universal Solar Cover Reel Strap Kit 5100SK The little screws pop out of the clips that hold it to the cover. Then ends stay on the straps themselves no problem and no issues where it attaches to the reel either.

Need a heavy duty way to keep the straps fastened onto my solar cover

I have a ~20x40 kidney shaped pool and a heavy duty hurricane solar cover reel. The reel works great, but need a heavy duty way to attach the straps to the cover. I continually have problems with them pulling off. I/ We manually pull the first 1/3 of the cover up to the reel and then crank it...

Hayward Heat Pro Heat Pump Flashes error code LP

Thanks for the replies. So jumped the low pressure switch and it fired up, so that let me know the fan, capacitor and controls were fine and it was either the low pressure switch itself or it was low on refrigerant. I put a set of gauges on it and there almost no pressure (high and low sides)...

Hayward Heat Pro Heat Pump Flashes error code LP

Through online searches this stands for Low Pressure but sounds like it can be caused by a bunch of stuff other than just a freon leak, like a bad fan motor, start capacitor, control board, etc., etc. Since I don't have A/C gauges, would like to try to cross off anything I can before calling a...

Thank you. We really like the decking. To be honest my opinion was concrete is concrete and just wanted to make sure we had a good base, thickness and rebar in it. The wife preferred a broom over swirl finish and not the smoothed edges that kind of frames in each section like a box (not sure...

I am certain this will probably be of no interest to anyone else, but I am a bit OCD on the plumbing setup as I worked as a laborer for my uncle who is a plumber through high school and college. I am also certain there is an obscene amount of over kill in this setup as well. All plumbing is...

1.25" conduit with (4) 2 awg insulated wires for a 100 amp sub panel. Put the wire in the conduit as I went. That part was not bad at all even on the 90 deg elbows. I was expecting much worse actually.

Thanks @bdex. I am not sure what piece of equipment I should have rented, but what I got was not the one for the job. I originally wanted to have the excavator do it, but he only had a 3 foot bucket on his back hoe. I got a buddy over this morning that helped me clean it out by hand and start...

Todays progress Had 2 buddies help me set the walls, pull the plumbing, etc. I greatly underestimated how many screws would need to be shot on this project! I actually can't believe how fast it went together and took shape. The excavator made the job cake. Very little hand shoveling!

@jjwalker you are dead on. Other than the plumbing repair for the drain line they clipped while digging I have had to do surprising little hand shoveling. The plumbing repair was more than enough though! I bought a spud bar at lowes and that was key for that job. So a friend stopped by...
