Okay, so the ground should be fairly dry now. It has not rained in a couple of days and there is no rain in the forecast. I am draining the pool now and plan on re-taping the coves. Is there anything that I can do to ensure that they will stay put when I fill the pool again?

Yes, this I figured out only after I learned the boiling water trick. I am draining the pool again in order to get the coves back down to the bottom behind the liner. Anything I can do to help them stay while I fill the pool again? Is adding a padding under the liner or on the walls helpful?

Whatever it was stained and killed the grass. Pretty sure that would not be a result from Baquacil.
