Sta-Rite SR400na - Now what? No codes, brief ignition

I have a 20yr old Sta-Rite SR400NA heater that had last worked about 15 years ago. I won't go into why its been so long...long story with electrical power availability. At any rate, the heater has been in place (plumbing/gas) it's entire life (manufactured in 1997 and presumable installed...

    Intellichlor IC40 & 3 HP Intelliflo VSP

Re: Intellichlor IC40 & 3 HP Intelliflo VSP I have the same question for perezsg. I now have a Intelliflo VS not on a timer since it has a built in. I have no automation equipement. Is there a way to wire the IC40 with the power center only to come on only when the VS comes on...

Install SWG in return line or to the infloor system (caretaker 99).

Divin Dave, I didn't think about that...if the infloor is down for a week......going green. I'll keep it going into the returns. I saw a post on TFP and it was installed on the infloor system (Paramount I believe) and that made me at lest question it. Thanks all for the reply's.

Install SWG in return line or to the infloor system (caretaker 99).

I'm replacing nearly all my equipment. I got to thinking if I should keep my SWG (new Pentair IC40) on the pool filter return lines or would it be better to have it plumbed into the caretaker system. My gut tells me to keep it on the pool returns as the high level of chlorine wreak havoc on...

    all new equipment

So instead of 3 pumps, one vs pump (say Pentair Intelliflo VS-3050) can handle everything? I would simply install an automatic valve actuator to change over to in-floor cleaning for 4-5 hours each day in the summer, then the rest of the time filter on low speed. I was concerned about TDH and...

A&A Manufacturing vs Paramount - In Floor cleaning actuator valves

I'm looking at both AA MFG and Paramount for a 2 port water valve. Paramount has a 3 year warranty I believe and AA is stating "LIMITED LIFETIME" but see your dealer for details. I'm looking for feedback as far as reliability of these two valves. Paramount replacement module is $200 vs AA @...

    all new equipment

This is my first post to a forum. I'm planning on upgrading/replacing all my equipment as I've had some electrical issues and lost use of the pump for my spa years ago. I was told the electrical lines were likely wet and wires have gone bad. I'm going to have at least a minimum 50 AMP...
