    Hayward gauge adapter

Hello, I can't figure out how to add a link or an image to a thread, so I'm hoping this info is enough: I have the Hayward EC-50 filter and I purchased a new pressure gauge from Taylor's website but it's 1/2" larger and too big to fit inside Hayward's gauge adapter ( part #ECX12866). Where...

    CYA 3rd day--shows too high

So it's been 2 days and the water looks great. Today's results: FC--7.5 CC--0 PH--7.5 TA--125 CH--25 CYA-55 So with a PH target of 7.7, pool math suggests adding 22oz borax which I'm about to do. My plan now is to do the chlorine drop test daily until I get a handle on it and all other...

    CYA 3rd day--shows too high

So according to pool math, I targed my fc to be 7 and the recommendation was to add 104oz of bleach. Does that sound correct? and that will take care of the cc and tc numbers right?

    CYA 3rd day--shows too high

Thank you for responding. As suggested, I targeted 40 cya for this pool, so if 55 is fine, that would be great! But also, I don't fully understand what to do about the 3 chlorine numbers I showed above. I'd appreciate some advice.

    CYA 3rd day--shows too high

reads cya of 55 on taylor TF-100 kit. With new well water, pool math showed to add 67oz so I added 64oz 3 days ago. Is it apt to go up or down in a weeks time? anyways, here are the other numbers, fc--2 cc--0 tc--2 cl--3 ph--7.2 ta--130 cya-55

    ph increaser not dissolving

Re: ph increaser not disolving Right. But it's dark out and I cannot see the pool. Is first thing in the morning ok? or should I get the flashlight.

    ph increaser not dissolving

good evening, I mistakenly sprinkled 16oz of ph increaser onto the water instead of diluting it first. It's settling on the bottom of a vinyl liner newly installed. Brushing often today didn't help much. Will that damage the new liner in any way? Thanks, Jerry.

    pool math?

ok, so I just deleted all values to "0" and rebooted. I then input the current info and target. Still showing "not set up". Apparently it is a computer issue that I need to correct right?

    pool math?

The fc, ph etc. target goals are "not set up" in my pool math. Everything was fine earlier this year so how can I reset and save them?

    Check my math please

So my input for FC target was 2. When I changed it to 5 it showed 93oz. Their goal indicates 1 to 3 , but you guys recommend to target 5 ?

    Check my math please

I'm so slow with computers. Forgot--- the PH is 7.8. So I should put 93 oz. of bleach and 64 oz. of stabilizer at this time and take another reading in a couple days right? I will recheck my pool math to see why I went wrong.

    Check my math please

Good morning, 1st post and 1st time using the TF-100 kit. From this point on, I plan on using this TFP approach. So far I've opened my pool according to the pool store's recommendation. Pool went from green to clear. The last product I used was phosphate remover. I'm ready to add the...
