Green Pool - Not a lot of time on hands

Ahh well honestly its kind of funny. So I didn't use nearly all the chlorine I thought I would, but it should be enough for the rest of the summer. The last post I made I mentioned needing to buy CYA. Well American Sale had it slightly cheaper than at Home Depot, so I had my kid go pick some up...

Haha thanks, I wasn't screwing around! I needed to get this fixed before my vacation from work ended, which was yesterday. Nick'o time. I just keep vacuuming and slamming non stop for two days.

    Raising CYA Questions

Hmm that was the cheapest price I could find around here. Also if I'm doing my shock algea treatment at night do I have to even worry about CYA? I plan on cleaning up the pool over the course of 12 hours from 8pm to 8am

    Raising CYA Questions

Oh ok, so I don't have to wait a whole week then? If so that's fantastic. Though I wonder how long it will take to dissolve 7.5 pounds of CYA. That said I do have like a pound of CYA, would it be a waste to start using it tonight and get the rest tomorrow?

    Raising CYA Questions

Oh ya, thats way to expensive, I would need 3.5 gallons. And I already thought spending 45 dollars on conditioner would be too much as is.So there is nothing else I can do besides wait it out? Is 15 dollars for 3lb an average deal?

Green Pool - Not a lot of time on hands

Well I already opened it, the cover is honestly shot. It has hundreds of tiny holes in it, not sure from what and I think it is a cause of a lot of the problem. There is a bit of debris in the pool, but it shouldn't take but a few hours to clean. The pool is 30,000 Gallon, Above Ground, Vinyl...
