No lights. When I turn it on. I get the power then generating then after 10 seconds it powers off. I do know the cell needs to be cleaned. But it was operating fine till I added salt.

Can you physically feel the difference between 2500 ppm vs 3000 vs 3500ppm?

Well when i first got the pool it was at 2600 ppm..I threw in 3 or 4 bags and got it to 3400..now its about 3300 or so the readout says.

Alright read that the SWG has a light that comes on every 500 hours @ 8hours a day that would make sense. Will need to check it and reset the light this weekend. Here are my current numbers: FC=10 CC=0 CH=275 TA=130 CYA=60 pH=7.2 Where to go from here?

turned the SWG down from 90% to 20% today since the FC was still at 11. Had it turned off yesterday. Got a blinking "check cell" light. Anyone have any experience with this? I have records that show the cell was cleaned in May and in good condition. Could the adjustment of the pool cause this?

Now that I think about it, how is it possible for me to still maintain a FC of 1 with 0 CYA?? My SWG is set to about 90% FWIW.

What happens if the fill water is high? I do have some brown/rust appearance near the port where the fill water enters the pool. The pool is a plaster type pebbletec type finish. Figured I would get the pool under control before trying to address that issue.

I assume that the fill water does have high TA, how would I know for sure? Test it? Alright will work on lowering PH..I know to add acid, is there a particular type that should be used over the other dry vs muriatic ect?
