Someone must have studied the workings of this. I replaced the turbine and bearings as I did see some wear at the bearing seats. It seems to only turn right and if held under the surface off the bottom it still only wants to go right. I now changed the shoes as they were warn but still large...

I have the same problem with my Pool Vac XL. Goes only left! Had it totally apart but can't find anything stuck or wrong! I also have one from 1980 that I'm using while the new one is figured out. Any help would be great! Thanks Ron
