Not sure where this post goes but I am out of tablets nd have a good month and a half left of pools season. I live in Iowa so I can continue making trips to the store to get tablets till I dont have any over the winter or get a big bucket. My question I guess is leaving the tablets in the cold...

Dynamo Model #548AB86A03 max Amps 12. Not sure on the GFCI.

I had it plugged into a timer then the timer into the outlet. The cord on the timer seem a hot. I unplugged it from the timer and plugged it into the outlet directly and am timing it now. - - - Updated - - - Runs 8 minutes

I will have to time it to see. It is a plug in and the not sure of the amperage. It is just a regular GFCI outlet.

Old pump was a Waterway SD-20-2N11MD 1.5 hp. It s tripping hte breaker on the GFCI. 120V

Its high flow now and the pressure is close to 13 when solars on on and 11 when they are off. The guy I bought the pump from told me that is why its tripping. My old pump was only showing about 3 for a pressure.

So I had a 2 speed pump, installed 2 solar heaters and was getting hardly any flow out of the return. Talked to the local pool guy who sold me a one speed 1.5 horse pump. I have a cartridge filter and now the pump trips off due to water flow. I have hi pressure coming out now but it is too much...

Yea I was doing the pros and cons. More expensive to replace the pool because my kids do not listen so we went with going over the top. Yes it will be painstaking to pull up the boards but it is not an every year project so be it.

I took these last night: FC=3.6 CC=.4 PH=7.2 TA=150 CYA=30 Calcium Hardness=290 I cleaned the filter prior to vacuum and it does not blow stuff out until I vacuum what is on the bottom. This was all done yesterday.

When it was blowing back to the pool I was not vacuuming to waste. I thought the filter would catch it and that is when I saw it blowing through the return. - - - Updated - - - I have a cartridge filter not a sand filter also.

When I was vacuuming it it was just blowing out the return, it was all cloudy. I was tired of losing all the water so I thought the filter would catch it. Nope so it just blew right back into the pool.
