Using Easy Set Pump for Water Slide

Hi all, I have an AGP with a small slide put on for my kids. I want to keep the slide wet when the kids are using it and thought of plumbing in lines from my primary return line but instead I'm considering getting a pump from one of the easy set type pools and using that instead. Question is...

Thanks folks for the input and pics. Looks like something the kids would love. Thanks Casey for the reminder about my sig - meant to do it before I posted the question and then completely forgot... guess I'm getting old :-) Cheers

    Slides for AGP

anyone have a slide installed from their deck to their agp? Other than the concern of water not being over deep in an AGP, should there be any concern about blowing the pool apart from sliding into it? Or for that matter from jumping in off the ladder or side? I keep telling my kids "don't...

    Our 18' AGP with deck

Yes.... you can say skinny dipping :-) - the deck surround was built for both privacy and security. I have two kids and I wanted to ensure they could not get to the pool so with the gate locked, that's impossible to do. Also, local building code states that the property must be surrounded by a...

    Our 18' AGP with deck

Thanks guys. Yes, they are clear rope lights. We wanted lighting on the deck but nothing too bright - enough to see your way around and not be right in your eyes. These worked out great!

    What's your current pool temp?

84 F (or as us Canucks say, 29 C). Hit almost 88 over the past week as we have direct sunlight on the pool from about 9:30am to 5pm. To me, the temp is a bit too warm for hot days as I don't find it really refreshing but in the night time, it's perfect. Better than the 72 we averaged last Aug...

    New Kayak pool hoses

From what I have been reading, you treat TigerFlex the same way you would Sch40 rigid PVC. Glue it to your fittings, couplers, etc... That said, I just finished plumbing in my pool Saturday using a combination of rigid PVC, tigerflex and barbed connectors and ss ring clamps - all provided by...

Fixing Return Outlet Leak without Draining Pool

Any tricks of the trade for replacing a return outlet without draining the pool? Read about a 'bucket method' - cut a hole in a bucket, put some weather stripping around it and put it over the outlet. Two man job for sure. Any suggestions or input? Thx

Flex PVC and Barbed Fittings - All Leaking

Hi all, Today I finished plumbing in my AGP with a combination of rigid PVC (main runs to and from pool) with white sch40 Flex PVC between the equipment using barbed connectors and ring clamps - all provided by a local pool supply shop. After getting the water level up, I discovered that all...
