We have replaced almost all to the de filter components - grids, top and bottom manifold etc. The stem pipe looks like it was glued in the past, on the elbow at the bottom of the pipe. Can I add more glue to this, if so what would be the best glue to use ?

Our de filter is offline due to repairs, but our chlorine level is at 0 ppm. Is it ok to pour liquid chlorine into the pool with circulation, or will this incur damage to the pool plaster ?

Thanks, the de is coming out of the returns. The grids felt like they were properly seated in the manifold, and the unit came with a new air bleed tube\ screen. After running it for a few days, notices large amounts of de on the bottom of the pool. We had a pool person come out and check the...

Small amounts of DE had been leaking into our pool. We purchased a complete filter grid set, which includes the manifold. We installed a new o ring on the standup pipe, as that was worn. it is still leaking de into the pool, could de be leaking from our backflush valve ?
