Hi, Can you recommend a solid winter cover that lasts? I go thru a cover in two years or less. The one that came with the pool lasted well over 20 years and I can't find any cover of that quality. This is for a 12' x 20' unground pool. Thanks for any input.

Wow, I didn't know the strips were useless, I will invest in a test kit. I had one years ago and the strips seemed so much easier to use.Live & learn.

Hi & thanks for the welcome, The capacity is approximately 13000 gallons. I'm at work and can't remember the brand shock. It's in a blue and red package, sold at Walmart and every place else. I am using test strips.
