    Leaking Pool

    Fixed the leak. It was leaking around a patch in the deep end that had been replaced numerous times. Liners was 10 years old so we replaced it this spring with new LOOPLOC liner. Water had washed away the vermiculite and the patches would not hold for very long with no support under the patch...

    Thanks for all the replys. I ended up buying a LOOPLOC solid cover with center drains back in the fall and it worked like a charm. Should have invested in one years ago.

    Algae collecting in seams of vinyl liner

    My vinyl pool chemistry is correct 5ppm chlorine, no CC, ph 7.6 and TA @ 100, CYA @ 50. It is a salt water pool but I keep getting algae on the seams of pool. It is a brand new LOOPLOC liner put in this year. I run the filter 12 hours a day. Any suggestions about the algae collecting on seams...

    We have owned a inground 18x36 pool for 8 years. We have never covered the pool in the winter up to this point. I have gotten tired of fighting cleaning out leaves in the pool since we have a lot of trees. Can anyone with some experience in swimming pool covers give a suggestion of the best type...
