Spa tiles will not stay on.....

High spa wall 3-4 ft. Cannot keep the tiles on. Had tiles and coping redone about 2 years ago and they are falling back off. I really need a good answer at this point. Can anyone recommend a solution? Put back tile, stone? What is the absolute best mortar/adhesive? Is there any other product...

Installing a pentair fns36 DE filter on small in ground pool

Is there a valve that will attach directly to the tank? I have a Hayward valve (spo75) but the distance between the inlet and outleton the tank is too large for this valve and the fittings are too small as well. I just have 1 return, 1 skimmer and 1 drain and 1 pipe to waste. I was looking at...

    Muddy Water

Day 5-almost crystal clear. I could have cleared it in three if I knew what I know now. Just in case this happens to anyone else, here is what worked for me: Vacuum, Backwash, Brush Backwash, rinse & repeat-vacuum to wast if you can. Make sure that you add plenty of DE after every backwash...

Pentair Variable speed stuck on #4 and won't prime

Another day another problem. I have muddy water, then the strainer clogged and now my pump only starts on #4-you can't manually change the speed now. The pump will not shut off manually (breaker used) and prime as well and the red alarm is flashing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Help!

    Muddy Water

Still muddy on day two. I'm running the filter 24/7 and vacuuming/backwashing in between-although I cannot vacuum to waste. I'm afraid to use any heavy duty chemicals as the pool is only three weeks old (plaster). I guess my biggest question is, will it ever clear up? And how long? Any help...

    Muddy Water

I hear you, Reebok. I'm still struggling with the water but I should be able to bring it around by keeping the filter on. It's a double whammy here, new pool owner and big flood into pool. I'm going to keep running and backwashing the filter. Hopefully I will be able to see the second step soon...

    Muddy Water

Well, leaving it settle didn't work...still brown. Turned the filter back on and that seems to be working. Guy at the pool store said to shock it and keep filtering. I'm going to to try that. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Muddy Water

I'm switching gears and letting the dust settle. The filter isn't cutting it. Also, after the dust settles, how do I vacuum to waste?
