If you don't have a spa, get a 1/2 HP full rated motor as the replacement. Slower flow, and you'll have a lower electric bill and better water clarity. Luke

I drained the pool out to about 6" above the deep end area. I am guessing this is about 1/2 of the water. I hope this will lower my levels and increase my clarity. Luke Pools

I contacted tri city about their system. They don't want to sale it. I guess it works soo well they don't want to risk it being out there. I looked at the picture. Looks like only one hose in and out of the chlorinator. Anyone have one of these? Luke Pools

Leaf bag = doesn't have enough back pressure on the bag to fill it out. The bag isn't any bigger than the other bags. Silt bag = too thin, gets holes in it easily. I don't think they make it zippered.

The water is 38 degrees. It won't be growing algae anytime soon. The bioguard people tell I can run up to 150 CYA without any problems. Can you run liquid in the pool with a vinyl liner? Or will I damage the liner? I am thinking I can lower the CYA level and run liquid in it. Luke Pools

#3008 from skimlite is what I use. Everything is internal, no external cams. The pole is like oval shaped and it locks with the other pole. Very nice and lightweight. Plus You won't break it like some other cheap poles from walmart.

Polaris has a warranty on their products and parts. See if they'll pay for a authorized repair center to come out to your pool and get the thing working. Luke Pools

I do buy there. I bought the leslie's brand back when I first started before I had wholesale accounts in 2001. I haven't bought there since, except on Sunday's when I needed a part and the wholesaler is closed. Sometimes Leslie's has parts in stock you'd have to order from a wholesaler.

Being a retailer myself, I bought cases and cases of the OMNI floc. It worked for a while, but I found better cheaper stuff to sale. So I quit using it in 2006.

buy two zipper bags. regular mesh. Don't get the leaf or silt. Dry one bag will the other is cleaning. your bags will last you a while. But not long enough! Luke Pools

Did you call Polaris? Their techs on the phone will actually help you find out the problem. Did you check the inline filter screen? Is it missing or full of debris? If so, clean it. Not sure what area of the country you live in, but Polaris cleaners don't work like they do in the summer...
