    I have a new pool that is set up with freeze protection to kick on at 34 deg. When dp kicks in, it runs the variable speed pump at a slower speed than normal spa operation. As you can probably guess, we like to use our spa when it is COLD outside. We end up sitting in the spa and the darn thing...
