Well, the pilot has a good blueish flame. Best I have seen it over the past few years. I'm not real comfterble tempering the assembly, so we will be calling someone. Any suggestions for the Brookfield,IL area?

It WAS bypassed, it was no longer from last year. I'm getting 452millivolts between d & e. E & f give off a low voltage, but it would seem that d & e is the issue. Any quick cheap fixes?

Ok, I had to get a volt meter, before I go to get a reading, should I do this cold or light the pilot and hold the gas open with the flame for a minute before getting a reading?

Hello, got a new problem with the heater. The pilot light won't stay light. Every time I let the knob rise up to set it "on" the pilot goes out before I can turn the knob. If I continue to hold the knob down in pilot mode, it's fine. Any advise? I would like to avoid calling someone if possible.

It fired up almost instantly. Where can I get a new switch inexpensively?

I have an above ground pool and live in Illinois. Need to lower the water level for winter, however I don't want to drain it manually. What pump should I get to do this? Cost is a factor, however speed is not a big issue. Would prefer to spend around $100 or under, but can spend more.
