    Hth chlorine un-stabilized

    I’ve seen hth chlorine in discount stores in two varieties. It looks like one has stabilizer and one doesn’t. Does anyone know how this would compare to using bleach in price and results.

    Sucking air through pump strainer threads

    I have a pump sucking air through the threads at the pump strainer. The plumbing doesn’t have any unions so its not possible to tighten the threads. Is there a something I can use or do to seal the leak?

    Power pool cover and Alkalinity and Ph

    I just found this site and wondered if anyone knows anything about power pool covers raising ph. My pool store is telling me that not opening my pool cover enough, is causing my ph to go up. If this is true, is there a way to avoid this problem? Thanks
