PH was 7.4 added 1 gallon M acid to 34,000 vinyl pool in attempt to lower TA. Currently have deck jets running to aerate pool LOTS of surface BUBBLES to raise PH to acceptable levels. Should I continue aeration or add Borax? I'm assuming 6.8 isn't too low and should be able to increase naturally...

I was under the assumption that DE filter to a much smaller micron better able to clear up you pool. I'd like to use minimal if any chemicals in this pool why I was leaning toward the Pentair Quad. Does everyone here use sand filters? From what I can tell all the iron is currently in a solution...
