Still confused about sizing cartridge filter to my system

Thank you for your reply! So, how do you come to 450 sq feet? What's the math I should be using? @duraleigh: Sand filter is reaching end of life, broken laterals, sand needs replacing. Also, want to get away from backwashing as it runs into neighbor's yard. Old neighbor didn't care. New...

Still confused about sizing cartridge filter to my system

I've read the forum posts and stuff on the web but I'm still a bit confused by the way it's being explained. I've got a 33.5k gallon pool, a 1 1/2hp Hayward sp2610x15 pump and giant sand filter that I'd like to swap out for a cartridge filter. And the piping is 2" PVC and about 30 feet of head...

    Concrete stain?

Got a 30 yr old concrete pool deck that needs some love. Had some mud jacking done to bring the sections back inline. Want to update the color now. I think I need a more opaque stain to mask the mudjacking fill holes. Any recommendations? Tia!

    Repair coping and tile?

Loving TFP and learning a LOT! Wasn't sure where to post this. We purchased the house a year ago and the pool is original, about 36 yrs old (IG, Plaster- painted with tile straddling the waterline, 33k Gals). The previous owners weren't really much for maintenance so now some of the tiles are...
