    Pentair Master Temp E05

A local pool repair tech suggested replacing the control board. Voila. Seems to be back in business. Hopefully it’ll last.

    Pentair Master Temp E05

I tried it again this morning and it worked. If the problem was consistent, …but it’s not. I really can’t figure this one out.

    Pentair Master Temp E05

Amazon….yeah I know. These were from different suppliers and 1st one was Feb 1st and from April 2nd. I confused why it works at first then doesn’t?

    Pentair Master Temp E05

I can’t figure this one out. My master temp turns on and about 30 seconds in, I get the E05 code and the heater shuts off. I’ve replace the sensor once, worked once and then back to the 30 threshold and turns off. I cleaned out the intake just in case and posted something about cutting a hole...

    Pentair Mastertemp 400 air intake

It’s outside and about 17” away from the house. It’s pretty sheltered on that side of the house, but I’ve never had an issue like this before.

    Pentair Mastertemp 400 air intake

My mastertemp 400 would shut off after about 28 seconds with an E05 error code. I replaced The Stack Flue sensor, tested it. All good until I tried it the next day with the side panel back on. Same problem. I vacuumed the intake, but occasionally get the same problem with the panel on. When I...

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

Sorry for the delayed response., wasn’t home. Anyway, Taylor test came out to 16 dropsand 15 drops(1st and 2nd test). So somewhere between 3,200/3,000ppm. chlorinator is reading the salt level as 3,600.

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

I won’t be able to check in person (kit reading) until next week. Remote reading from easy touch is 3900ppm.

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

That’s what I’m thinking too. The 40% life light and time not used just makes me wonder if I’m missing something.

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

I’m assuming you’re inquiring about the date? 04/04/2014. although a good year and a half probably no use.

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

Since I replaced that wire and didn’t have it working, I left it unplugged. So no. It’s been unplugged and I was adding chlorine manually. When I plugged it in a few days ago, and saw that it was reading salt levels correctly I added salt (after partial drain) hoping that if I brought salt...

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

...in all honesty. I thought the cell was dead awhile ago. I never expected lights to turn green, start reading salt levels etc. I really have no idea...,

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

I replaced the wire and the red flow switch light was illuminated. So I kind of left it to address later. I didn’t realize how much later it would be.

    Pentair ic40 Inspect Cell

I need some help with my Pentair Salt Cell. The Salt Cell Inspect Cell green light is flashing. Last summer the flow light was a solid red. What looked like a char’d wire (connection are circuit board) was replaced on the EZ Touch. The end of the season came I just left the cell unplugged when...

    Pentair intellichlor Dead

I do have an EZ touch with built in power supply. And yes, I’m refering to screen logic. The black wire is on the power supply wire to the SWG. Pentair part #520724. There are four wires. (White/blue/black/red. Black is the burnt wire) I took pictures but I can’t figure out how to make them...

    Pentair intellichlor Dead

I noticed my Chlorinator led lights weren’t operating. Checked the cell and it seems to be dead. When I opened the EZ touch I noticed the black wire connector to the circuit board was burned. I obviously need to replace the wire, but is there additional problems I should look for so I don’t hook...

    Pentair Whiserflo Pump

When I'm running both, I split the difference so maybe I do need this size? If I keep this size, what additional things should I do when I replace the motor? For example, are there seals I should replace, etc?

    Pentair Whiserflo Pump

I always felt it was a little overkill. The waterslide is actually a slide and water fall combo rock feature. You can divert the water equally or to one feature (slide/waterfall). It stands about 6ft tall and the pump is seated behind it out of sight. It draws separately from the main...

    Pentair Whiserflo Pump

I have a Whisperflo Pump dated from 2007, model number: WFE-8. It's a dedicated pump specifically for a waterslide feature for the pool. I turned it on to filter some water through it. It buzzed for a moment, then it fell silent and it's completely dead now. I'm able to manually rotate impeller...

    Pentair WhisperFlo

I have a Pentair WhisperFlo (Model No. WFE-8) as a pump. A couple weeks ago when I turned it on, all I heard was buzzing. I quickly turned it off, then back on and it worked perfectly. This past weekend, I turned it on. Again, the buzzing was heard, but before I could turn it off it went dead...
