It has been interesting! We are very happy with the result and the space it opened up in the yard by moving the pool. All filled up and running. Even had some swimmers!

We wanted the light to shine away from the house so it wasnt blinding/glare-y and more for ambiance. I guess we wont know till its full of water and we can turn it on!

Does anyone know what type of caulking product I should use to seal/attach my scupper pots to the supply pipe? I am guessing it needs to have some resistance to chlorine and salt.

More progress. Coping is almost done, yard is graded and base layer leveled out for paver install starting monday. I also laid new sod a few weeks ago.

Well, the sheer is about 4" off center. I think the plumber ran his pipe up a little off which caused the steel guy to set up the rebar a bit off center....and so on. So my question is, now that shotcrete is done, can I cut back the concrete to recenter the sheer and then backfill with grout...

Passed inspection and shotcrete went in this morning. I think my sheer is a little off center on the back wall. Not sure what if anything can be done now.

Thanks for the feedback. The new pool will sit west of the old one with about 8ft from inside edge to inside edge. I am counting on using the dirt from the new dig to fill the old to cut down on some of the cost. Fortunately O dont have any major roots or anything where the new pool is gonna go...
