    Another BBB success story

Last fall, a hospital stay and recovery time kept me away from closing my AGP. It resulted in a dark green mess this spring. Well after 2 weeks of keeping shock levels constant, I can finally see the bottom of the pool. Current readings FC:17 CC:2 PH:7.2 CYA:40. Looks like I'm close to the end...

    Sunlight and Chlorine levels

Ok is there any chart on the effect of sunlight on chlorine. I have an above ground Intex 18x48 about 7500 gallons. My CYA is 40. How quickly at this level does sunlight burn off the bleach added?

    Question about TA

    Testing CC

5 days ago I began the SLAM process. All during the SLAM I kept my FC at 20 (CYA is 50). All during this process, CC did not register at all. This morning the water was clear for the first time in days. I figured it was time to try the OCLT. FC was 17. At noon FC was 10 and for the first time...

    Singing the praises

I cannot express the praise enough of TFTestkits. After researching both the TF-100 and K2006, it was the logical choice to buy the TF-100. While the cost was slightly more, it makes up for itself in the number of tests the TF-100 over the K-2006. I can't say enough positives about TFTestkits...

    Time to SLAM

UPS just arrived with my TF 100. Here are the initial test results: FC - 9 CC - 3 PH - 7.2 CYA - 50 Looks like raising the FC to 20. Not as bad as I thought it would be. I currently have 2 121oz bottles of 8.25 Bleach. Any ideas how many bottles I should pick up to keep the process going?

    Intex pumps

Hi, I am a newbie and have a question. Have and Intex Ultra Frame 18 X 48 pool holding about 6500 gallons. The pool came with a 1500 gph filter. Is this filter enough to circulate the water or should I consider upgrading the pump to the 2500 gph? Thanks in advance
