I need to make our new above ground pool into a saltwater pool. I need all the help I can get.

Don't know if you are still looking but you might want to check out Solaxx Saltron Reto Saltwater Chlorine Generator. It just hangs over the side of your pool and does a great job for our pool. You just have to make sure your salt level is correct and you should be good to go. I've used mine...

    New Pool - Deck Build

Don't know yet what the costs are going to be. I bought it used last year and just got it installed about July 1st. First gas bill about mid-July showed more gas used this year than last, but haven's sat down and look at the numbers yet. Will let you know when I do.

    Pool Water Temperature?

Our pool gets direct sunlight till about 1:30 pm or so each day so most of our swimming takes place in the shade. I have found 84° F to be very comfortable, although like everyone else, it's been a cool summer and air temperatures in the mid 70s feel down right cold!! I have been pleasantly...

    Adding a timer

It would seem to me that the basic answer would be "yes". In my mind I would "raise" the enclosure you have and "insert" the timer below, wired to whichever outlets you want to control. Kind of totem-pole like. I don't know about "drilling" the side if there is not already a knock-out there...

    Northeast Ohio AG Pool Install/Build

Since I have such a hose mess to clean up, I started on installing hard plumbing. First I needed a platform for the pump and SWG. I was inspired by Augie56 and decided to build a wooden one. It does not come close to his work, but it will do just fine! A combination of new and used wood...

    Northeast Ohio AG Pool Install/Build

A few new photos on the pool build, which has stopped for a little while to deal with other things in life. (As if anything else was more important!! LOL) The "plumbing" is all temporary and using what I have on hand in order to get the pool up and open. Quiet a mess, hey?? I want to...

    Automation / Timers Questions...

In reading through your thread, it seems to me that one thing you wanted was to run the pump at night during the week and during the day on the weekends. To do this automatically, it would seem to me that you need a 7 day timer. While I don't have any first hand experience with timers...
