The water is clear and I can the see the bottom just its filled with fine dust about 3 inches thick in some spots. When I try to manually vacuum it. It starts to stir up and I have to wait till it clears.

Been trying to vacuum the dead algae to waste. its taking forever. The pool is clear just need to get rid of the fine particles in the deep end. Anything I can do to speed it up?

Hi, I just cleaned my DE filter soaked it for 24hrs and rinsed it off afterwards. Once I connect the pump to the filter I notice the return drop to zero. Bypass the filter and I it runs normal. What am I doing wrong/missing? Thank You

Got a new motor for the pump, A Jacuzzi Magnum. Closed the main drain and used the skimmer but still nothing from the return eye and no pressure at the filter.

I have a Jacuzzi Magnum 1.5 hp pump. The motor been replaced around 2008. Last summer the motor died. Should I replace the motor or get a new pump? I live in upstate NY and the system is old. I bought a new DE Filter to replace the sand one the previous owners had. Thank you.
