Why is it such a big deal to just drill through the pool wall and then seal it with hydraulic concrete?

its a good 75 feet to the pump under concrete ....want to avoid that

full spa mode meaning full spa return and full spa suction ? If i turn this valve only to spa return the pressure goes to max and the valves start to shake so i never try that ....

Yes the overflow does go from spa to pool but i shut off the spa return .... to isolate the spa .... I am trying to empty spa and letting the pool circulate ....like i said if turn off the pump the spa still continues to fill .... im trying to repair some plaster damage..

Btolley i will try your suggestion .... hope its that simple ...if not ....? Im trying to repair the damage you see without draining the whole pool ....

Maybe this will help the pros understand ... WHEN I TURN OF THE PUMP THE SPA CONTINUES TO FILL UP ???? LOGIC says its gravit fed then right and the jet of water is a back up safety so spa cant be drained and burn out the pool like i did the my step dads spa 10 years ago when he was out of town...

the valves dont make sense as spa return is full closed yet there still jet of return water ??? thats where i dont get it .......

Pressure reads bout 17-20 average ....

I try to get all valves every way possible to isolate the spa but seems to always have a return going to it ..... is that normal or should i be able to isolate the spa in typical setup ? if there was a leak wouldnt i notice it with lots of water loss cause thats not happening other then ususal ...

thats the weird thing the spa is not emptying at all ? something not making sense .... i want to only use pool drain and circulate water in the pool im trying to drain the spa to work on it and cant do it.... every thing i have tried the spa still fills up via jet .... i can get it halfway down...
