How do I test to see if the motor shaft turns easily? I think that capacitor is at the back end of the pump but the propeller is closer to the big plastic part of the pump? Any videos or instructions on how to test if the shafts turns easily?

I passed OCLT. Added 2q of Metal Magic. It helped a bit but still have some discoloration on returns. Next day I added 1 gal of stabilizer. Did full set of tests. Things were perfect sans stabilizer. Waiting til weekend to do another full set and see where stabilizer tests.

I was questioning slam bc my test results (above) didn't show anything. I think I may have been failing OCLT bc of rain. 1q per 10K but after AA treatment I used at least 6q.

I was using SWG during the day to help maintain FC and turning it off at night for OCLT. Is that ok? Also, have been running filter 24/7 right?

When I complete slam per the 3 criteria, do I add CYA immediately or wait a few days for FC to start to float down to normal levels? Also, should I turn off SWG while FC floats down - I don't want to prolong it.
