    That's we thought too, but the builder assured us that when the PT lumber shrinks/dries it will leave a gap.

    More photos of ladder and step up. - - - Updated - - - We opted not to have deck right under top rails because it is easier for the winter (leaf) cover to be installed and excess rolled under the rails. Link to ladder we are using...

    Just took cover off pool! Thanks BBB! Crystal clear

    Installed 18' Doughboy last May. Used BBB all summer long. Covered in September. Removed cover today. Picture speaks for itself.
