Booster pump leaking at the hose fittings

To make a very long story short, I had all kinds of trouble with my old Pentair LA01N and found it cheaper to buy a whole new one on Amazon for $200. I replaced it last night, keeping the old hoses but putting new fittings on the pump side. It ran fine this morning but little jets of water were...

    Problems with Pentair Legend Platinum

This is my first pool and my first pool cleaner. From the beginning I have hated the Pentair Legend Platinum I have running with a booster pump. When it was new we had a lot of trouble with the hose getting stuck between the body and the wheel so that it would stop moving entirely. Every few...

    First time using TF-100

Oddly enough the water looks great. We had lowered the cya to 40ish but then were using tabs plus granular shock until I found this site. Just in a couple of months my cya has doubled. Still using tabs but trying to get off them as soon as I get me some bleach.

Hello! I'm new and my pool water is green and cloudy

No splash bleach contains sodium xylene sulfonate, a thickener often found in shampoos. While I'm a pool noob, I don't think you should be putting that in our pool.

    What's your pool cleaners name?

We call ours "that Darn thing" as it gets stuck every 2 to 3 days. It is the Pentair Legend Platinum and I would highly recommend against it. It's designed is so that there is a gap between the wheels and the body, just enough for the hose to fit there and jam the moving wheel. It cleans just...

    I got pool stored!

Hello everybody, We got a pool built just under 2 years ago. The first year or so everything seemed to be fine but this year we had algae for the first time, and a really bad case of it (what I was calling "crocodile water".) I was using strips to test the water and all I could tell is my CYA...
