    Can't get the cloudy out

It's getting better more and more everyday. I think I just need to be patient. I did the overnight test and it only went down 1ppm.

    Can't get the cloudy out

Hello everyone. I've been using the BBB method for years with great success. The water was super clear and was proud of my parents pool. Problem is, I'm not taking care of the pool no more since Im not near my parents house no more. The pop ups went down and we resorted to just use the waterfall...

    Backswimmers, Argh. Oh, and Hi!

Welcome, I used to get backswimmers all the time, until I started the BBB method. I noticed you are doing BBB too, but really had to keep on top of the pool everyday to keep them out. I noticed if I keep my PH around 7.6 and FC levels around 9-10 I never have a problem. The minute I let the FC...

4ppm FC Loss after heavy rain

You guys answered my question. I usually lose 2.5 ppm a day, but suddenly been losing 4 then it went back to 2.5 now at 4 again. We are having a very hot and rainy Monsoon season this year, Guess I have to deal with it.

    Good ole Monsoon

I have the tf100 and for some reason can't find the CC (r-0003). I plan on going to our local leslie pool which sells the product by bottle.

    Good ole Monsoon

pool is 10300 gallons. We drained 80% of the pool last year. I'll try the OCLT tonight see where it goes. Thanks

    Good ole Monsoon

I had a fantastic last year using the BBB method for my pool. For some reason, this year has been a nightmare. My PH goes of the charts and I have to use MA to lower it all the time, and now, for some strange reason, we are having a very bad Monsoon season. My pool was going down 2-2.5 every day...

    Can't keep PH down

Thank you for all of your replies. CC is back up at 8.0. Had it at 3.0 cause I read somewhere reading PH at a high CC level is not accurate. I do have a waterfall that is on when we swim, I guess I have to add MA all the time. As for TA, I could be wrong, but thought I had to keep it from 70-90...

    Can't keep PH down

Last year I started the BBB method with great results. For some reason, this year, I can't keep the PH down. Its always around 8.0 and possibly higher since my tester stops to 8.0. I've been following the suggestions from the pool calculator on how much muriatic acid to add, but the PH still...

    Help With Vinyl Pool

I have a friend with a Vinyl Pool with a fine dust in the bottom of the pool. There is a green tint and when you disturb the bottom of the pool, it clears up. I never dealt with vinyl pool, but is this algea ?

    The Bugs are back

It's been a few days and they are still coming back. There is usually on 2 but it still doesn't make sense. We are in our monsoon season so maybe that is why we are seeing them again. Maybe use algeaside with cooper that I ready in another thread ?

    The Bugs are back

For the last few months, my pool has been beautiful as a result of using BBB. A few days a go, I ran out of bleach and had to skip a couple of days. Once I had the bleach in my hands again, I had the FC level at 9. I noticed backswimmers are slowly starting to come in again, maybe 1 or 2 at a...

    Pebble Tec

Hey thanks for the help. We had Riviera pools which went under the year the pool was finished. I hope your installer is right.

    What's your current pool temp?

bout 71 here, and 90 outside. We are finally hitting the 90's consistantly so it will warm up quickly. waiting for my fave 78 to jump in :)

    Pebble Tec

The sad thing is, this is the way the pool company had designed it. They didn't even give us the option for tile. I think they knew they were going out of business and just didn't care. Now I have to do it myself

    My Backyard Retreat

I love it, I should go visit and see what you did :). I want Queen Palms so bad, but they always look so drab to me. Your Queen Palms look great and now I want them again

    Pool Temp too hot!

It gets hot out here in Phoenix AZ, but manage to keep the pool around 88-90 in 110 degree. We have a waterfall and areator. I didn't use the areator much last year, but def doing this year. 90 degrees is much to warm for me.

    Slideshow

Finally did the BBB and I love how the pool turned out. Not as pretty as some of the pools here, but I'm proud :)

    Pebble Tec

Not sure where else to put this question. I have a pebbletec pool that that is pretty much covered by the pool deck above. There are parts, next to the waterfall where pebbletec is exposed to the AZ sun :(. I've heard rumors that its bad exposing pebbletec to the sun and may crack in 10 years...

    BBB finally

Is there a cheaper alternative to add calcium chloride to the pool. I've been to several places and its would cost me $40 bucks to add calcium to the pool. I know about the bypass to add hard water to the pool, just worried it will ruin the hard work to get the pool in BBB mode and the cost to...

    BBB finally

Yes it is a plaster pool. Well that was a learning lesson for us. We always thought our fill water was Hard water, found out the fill is coming from our soft water system. I will get a calcium plus product to increase it. When we filled out pool, we pretty much diluted the CH from the water we...
