Didn't add any sequestrants and the water is crystal clear after a night of the filter running. I'm guessing it was sand from my well and not metals, because I never get, any staining and in only added the metal out once last year. Just got to give it a good vacuuming and wait for it to warm up...

You could definitely use some ma, your ph is a little high. I can't see the stabalizer going bad. I would also check your ta. That will affect how your ph acts. Mine is high and because of that my ph keeps rising. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

You might need a sequestrant also being that you have well water. Most wells have a high iron content that can tint the water after adding chlorine. The sequestrant will take the guessing out of the equation and let you know if it's iron or algae. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

Have you added a metal out product yet? My water was greenish but clear when I started due to my well water and the sequestrant helped a lot. If your cc level is high you are fighting an algae problem and the shock process is the way to go. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk 4 Beta

My ta is high so my ph rises rather quickly and I just tested it and it was at 8 so I added 62oz to bring it down to around 7.4. Should I not add that much at once? Also, my kid is bugging me to get in. I know you said you don't have to wait that long after, but I added a little more than usual...
