Hellow all, quick question. Can black algae grow through the plaster of the pool from the ground underneath the pool? I have a black algae problem and with out even seeing the problem, my pool service is saying it is probably growing from the ground under the pool and coming through the plaster...

FC = 3.5 CYA = 50 PH = 7.5 I put in 2 bottles of bleach last night at around 9pm. After leaving filter on for half hour, FC = 10. This morning, FC = 3.5 around noon. This has been happening on a daily basis after putting in 2 bottles of bleach. Any help will be appreciated.

What could be the cause of this problem? I will post my chemical number tonight when I get home. Thanks again for any help.
